Orthopaedics

Orthopaedic surgeons take care of patients with problems of the musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. At Unity Surgical Center, orthopaedic surgeons treat broken bones and other injuries, correct carpal tunnel syndrome, treat arthritis pain, perform arthroscopy for joint disease using the smallest incisions, do joint replacement surgeries, and more.  These surgeons have completed an undergraduate degree, a four year medical school or osteopathic degree, a five year orthopaedic residency, and some have completed a fellowship in a subspecialty.  All are board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
