The physicians and staff of Unity Surgical Center (USC) put your health and safety as our top priority. We are closely monitoring the COVID -19 pandemic and following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), and our local health department. In order to decrease risk to you and preserve resources for a potentially worsening emergency, we are postponing all elective cases. We are also evaluating increased risk in some patients, and the need to protect them from any potential exposure. If your physician determines that your case is elective or that it is in your best interest to postpone, you will be contacted. If it is your own preference to postpone your surgery, please contact your physician. The state of emergency is evolving every day, so the plans for your scheduled case may change as new information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding in this challenging time. We look forward to rescheduling these elective cases when the situation improves. We will provide updates as quickly as possible.
Every patient that is scheduled for surgery or a procedure at Unity Surgical Center, as well as each accompanying family member or driver, is being asked if they have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing or exposure to a person known to be positive or suspect for COVID-19. If the answer is yes to any of these questions, before coming to USC please call (765) 446-5000 for further evaluation and instructions. If after hours, please call your surgeon's office.
Please arrive 90 minutes prior to your scheduled procedure for screening processes at USC.
We are limiting each patient to one visitor (who will also be screened). No visitors under 18 years old are permitted.
We thank you for your cooperation and help in protecting our patients, visitors, and community.
