Breast Surgery

Patients with breast disease that is either benign (not cancer) or malignant (cancer) are cared for by our general surgeons and plastic surgeon.  Procedures including biopsies, lumpectomies, mastectomies, reconstructions, and even intraoperative radiation are performed as outpatient or 23-hour surgery. Intra-operative care is sometimes coordinated with radiologists specializing in breast imaging and with radiation oncologists who can deliver radiation therapy inside the incision.
