Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery

Dr. Mario Brkaric is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon. He completed his residency at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn, Downstate Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in orthopaedic surgery of the spine at William Beaumont Hospital, one of only 13 accredited fellowship training programs in the United States. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. His work has been presented nationally and internationally. His areas of expertise include deformity, degenerative conditions, spinal trauma, minimally invasive technology, and dynamic and motion-preserving technology.
