Dr. David Sullivan is a native Hoosier who graduated from Delphi High School. He then received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University-Bloomington and his degree in podiatric medicine from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, which is now affiliated with the Rosalind-Franklin School of Medicine. Dr. Sullivan completed residencies in both podiatric surgery at Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, Ariz., and primary podiatric medicine at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Penn. While practicing in Illinois, Dr. Sullivan became board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a certified wound specialist, a fellow of the American College of Certified Wound Specialists, and a member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care.
For the past 15+ years, Dr. Sullivan has provided advanced management and treatment for many lower-extremity disorders. These include, but are not limited to: plantar fasciitis and other heel pain conditions; diabetic, venous stasis, and chronic ulcerations; osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis afflicting the foot and ankle; ankle sprains and unstable ankles; generalized foot deformities including bunions, hammer toes, and ball of foot pain; skin lesions and disorders; ingrown toenails; and an array of bone-, joint-, and tendon-related pathologies.
